    I purchased these hinges for a driveway gate. So far it is not installed yet so I can't speak to that. The Hinges are straight forward and strong. My only complaint is about the barrel that gets welded to the gate. It is made of 2 parts, the barrel and a piece of 1 1/2 flat bar. These two parts aren't lined up in any standardized way. It seems like the person assembling them didn't use a jig to hold them in place. So make sure you take your measurements off of the barrel and not the flat bar.
